Product Description
LA SYN-TRANS 50 is a fully synthetic base oil coupled with a robust additive system and an improved viscosity modifier to provide exceptional protection for Road Ranger gearboxes. This high viscosity index, low pour-point, fully synthetic gear oil provides reduced friction, better low temperature start-up protection and longer gearbox life than most conventional gear oils. It is a proven heavy duty, sophisticated extreme pressure gear lubricant and meets the requirements of the API Service Classification GL-5 and Military Specification MIL-PRF-2105E. It is fully inhibited against foaming, oxidation and corrosion and contains sulfur/phosphorous extreme pressure additives which ensure that the oil meets all the requirements of modern Road Ranger gearboxes to operate at high load-carrying capacity at sustained high speed under high torque loading conditions.
LA SYN-TRANS 50 is recommended for use in Eaton (Road Ranger) manual transmissions where extended drain intervals are required. It is recommended for drain interval of 800,000 kms or 10 years for Line Haul and 288,000 kms or 3 years for Vocational.
