Product Description

LA Syn-Gear EP Industrial gear oils are blended using synthetic base fluid selected for their exceptional oxidation and thermal properties, inherently high viscosity index, extreme low-temperature mobility and freedom from many undesirable compounds found in conventional mineral base stocks. Combined with an advanced additive system, the finished fluids provide outstanding lubrication performance under severe operating conditions, improved energy efficiency, long service life and high resistance to micro-pitting for optimum gear protection. Excellent frictional characteristics conserve energy, reduce friction losses and reduce bulk oil temperatures.

Application

LA Syn-Gear EP oils are recommended for all types of enclosed gear drives operating under severe service conditions, such as heavy or shock loads and low speeds for boundary lubrication, low or elevated temperatures up to 120C or wide temperature variations. They are suitable for both circulation and splash type lubrication systems and are particularly recommended for certain ?lubricated for life? systems, plain and rolling element bearings and oil circulation systems.
